Looking for more?
Hopefully, you’ve already come to understand the value of relative trend analysis™ and how it effectively puts all stocks, indexes and other investment products on a level playing field where they can easily be assessed relative to one another. If you’re still unclear about that, you should re-read the Visitor Guide. It’s critical to understand the data and charts, and how they’ll be useful to you before shopping for more data here.
But if you’ve come this far, you might now be asking, “What else can you do for me?”
That’s where our premium services come in.
Currently, our family of premium service products consist of databases that are distributed weekly (but also available as one-off editions).
The goal is to provide you, the independent investor, with a much larger pool of data on stocks and other investment vehicles. Naturally, the data we provide can be easily integrated into your favourite spreadsheet and technical analysis software. That’s not to say that you can’t just scan the listings for potential winners… it’s just that you can more easily sort and screen the data with the right computing tools.
These products are distributed as email attachments in both .csv and .pdf formats... the former for integration into your favourite software, and the latter for better readability.
The Databases
We currently offer the following…
- Canadian Equities Database (approximately 2000 records)
- US Equities Database (approximately 5000 records)
- Canadian & US ETF Database (approximately 1200 records)
More are being considered, and your suggestions are welcome.
Each of the records (rows) in these databases have the following fields (columns)… Symbol, Name, Price (Friday close), %Price Change (for the week), Tr10, C10, Tr20, C20, Tr40, C40. “Tr” refers to Trend, “C” for Consistency. The numbers refer to 10, 20 and 40-week moving averages. Many trend-following investors pick stocks based on the relationship among trends with different time frames.
Additional fields are being considered. For example, in the ETF database, we already include the Country since we cover both Canadian and US ETFs, and the Category/Type of ETF. We are willing to add additional fields, if there is sufficient interest; but it is not our goal to replicate information that you can easily find elsewhere.
Conditions of Distribution
Please note that all Premium Service products are intended for single user (or single household) use only. Any attempts to forward copies to others will be considered a violation of copyright. Licensing agreements for corporate or organizational distribution can be negotiated with ProfiTrend Enterprises.
Sign Up…We’re using PayPal as our billing service, since it appears to be the most widely-used secure electronic billing platform worldwide. You can still use your major credit card, but if you don’t currently have a PayPal account you may be prompted to set one up before your transaction will go through. Setting up a PayPal account is a one-time exercise; after which you can exchange funds with anyone who has an email account. And, it’s free, unless you intend to sell goods or services as we do.
(To avoid confusion, please note that for billing consolidation purposes we are currently accepting PayPal payments through the merchant account of our sister company, Information Technology Enterprises. This name will appear as you go through the sign-up process, and may also appear on your credit card statement.)
